B. Marx - Vice President

Marx (he/they) identifies as boy, daddy, handler, or bearish, depending on who’s asking ;-). He is one committed to service, passionate about community, and lover of all things equitable, inclusive and diverse. A proud member of the Knight Hawks of Virginia, Marx serves as Pledge Master and Sergeant at Arms, has served as Tally Master for the Virginia Leather Contest, and can often be seen at leather and bear runs working with Wolfstryker Leather. He is most proud of creating Pride After Dark—a celebration of kinky queer joy with Virginia Pride and the RVA Leather X-Change, a space to connect and share through leather. With roots in HIV prevention and clinical mental health, Marx currently leads an LGBTQ+ youth center committed to creating safer, more affirming spaces for Virginia’s LGBTQ+ youth—serving with heart, integrity, and a drive to make a difference.
